Training correctly on the rower… here are a few tips:
The training must be carried out correctly. The tightening of abdominal and back muscles is extremely important during rowing, to prevent injuries. A correct execution of the movement also entails that you activate 20 to 25% more muscle fibers. Research shows that just 80% of your muscles are used during rowing. Hamstrings, thighs, abdominal and back muscles, arm and pectoral muscles… all of them are addressed during training. So always try to keep your wrist stretched so that it is in 1 line with your forearm.
The sufficient buckling of your feet also plays an important role during rowing. These give a sense of stability and make rotating the knee impossible. When taking off, make sure that you do not overstretch your legs, and perform the movement too far, as it were. Push off and stop when your leg has a relaxed posture. Work mainly on your leg muscles and not from your knee. Make your training a little different every time.
